FH just got another message last night that one of his friends got engaged. That's 6 of our friends in 2 months!!!!!!!!!!! That doesn't include the 4 or so from before us. EVERYONE IS GETTING ENGAGED! I guess this is the year!
I love weddings!

god i have no friends lol..i think just 1 of fh's friends, but she's not getting married until 2011..oh and fsil is getting married in 2011 too

my friend got engaged before I do, so she doesn't count. But after we got engaged, someone from FH's church that he has known all her life go engaged.
Someone in my mother's church got engaged.
FH's friend's gf is crazy and was upset when we got engaged, so now I think they're engaged.
An old friend from JHS got engaged.
So that makes it 4 people that we know that have gotten engaged since we have.

1 couple that got engaged after us and getting married this sept. And another couple that got married 3 weeks ago - so I guess tghey don't count anymore. Other than them all my friends are married

One of my girlfriends is getting married at the end of this month.
Two of her BM's are getting married next October.
One of my co-workers just got married in May, another is getting married in October, another next November, and one who hasn't set a date yet.
So I guess you could say........7!

8 and all after FH and I !!!!! and I am sure there are more coming! I know 4 couples who got engaged within a 2 week span - Its crazzy!
The only good thing is that I will not be invited to all 8 weddings!! Imagine??

one. I called one of my best friends from years ago (we had been out of touch for a few months now) to tell her i´m engaged and she is too!! It was really funny. I guess a lot can change in even just a few months!

I'm the only one... but my best friend's boyfriend bought an engagement ring for her in December and has yet to propose! It really isn't his fault though because the 2 times he planned on asking her, things went really wrong. The first time, he got into a really bad car accident and the second time, her grandmother passed away. Now he's just waiting for the perfect time and then I finally have someone close I can talk to about all of this! I can't wait for them to get engaged!

FSIL got engaged before we did (on New Years Eve)....but I can't have fun talking wedding things with her because 1) she lives in Munich and 2) I'm pretty sure she's not my biggest fan
Oh well. I don't think any of my friends will get engaged until after I'm married...so I'll be able to help them with their weddings!
