Re: New Construction on Elwood Road
It is a six lot subdivision...so that means 6 houses can be there. It is not a price for one house...(at least that is how I read it)

It's definitely for 1 'To Be Built' home in a 6-home subdivision. (The 'year built' is 2004) And they are asking $975k for one home and they'll get it. Elwood is pricey in some areas.

What shocks me is that they build these expensive homes as cookie cutter homes. You would think if people were paying that much money that would want unique, custom built homes.

i'm upset about the bread and cheese road/old bridge road land purchases...sad b/c the area is so rustic and i wish it could stay that way!

Re: New Construction on Elwood Road
The problem is people are BUYING homes...therefore the prices can go higher. If we all Stop buying the comparitive market analysis will drop and so will the list prices. I use to sell RE and I cant believe how high homes have risen! It is frightening! I forsee (Not that I wish this on anyone) a lot of foreclosures in the near future!
