NEW DAVID'S BRIDAL

So the new David's Bridal store is opening in Massapequa tomorrow. My sister's best friend works there as a consultant so you should definitely request her when you go there! She was an LIW bride just like us and got married a few years ago, so she will definitely treat you with respect and not be rude. Her name is Alyssa P. I am sure you'll have an awesome time with her and not have a horror story like we are used to hearing since the consultants tend to be rude.

It's on Sunrise highway in the same shopping center as Pier 1 and Babies R Us. It's where the old Tower Records store used to be.

Although my appointment is at a different one tomorrow, I almost want to buy mine here (if I get a DB dress) since I had so many awesome memories at that Tower back in the day. Is that pathetic or what?! LOL

That's so cool! What a small world! She is great, very sweet!

I don't know if it was b/c they just opened or what, but I went there today & did not have a good experience. I really didn't receive the personal attention that I was looking for. I made an appointment & the girl that was helping me was also helping 3 other girls at the same time. She was not listening to what I was saying I was looking for. She didn't help me get in & out of the gowns either! It was very disappointing!!!

I think I'm just going to stick to the smaller boutiques!

I'm sorry you had a poor experience :( When you go dress shopping on a Sat or Sun- no matter where you go- you're going to run into that... You also have to understand that it was the 2nd day the store was open so of course the store was crazy packed and us consultants are still learning! I am sure if you would have asked for some help and just been patient, your consultant would have been more than happy to help you with the dresses! Sometimes brides don't want help in the dressing room. Like I said- we are still learning the process. If you really want the personal one on one attention- I would recommend going on a weekday instead. The store is open until 9pm Mon-Fri. If it was me I would definitely help you out :)

Where you there today? My SIL brought my neice in for the FG dress and apparently she had a meltdown... she didnt want to take the dress off, she wanted to take it home with her...

My bad! LOL!
