When I booked with Duet this weekend - they mentioned that they are coming out with a new album style and mentioned having the option to 'upgrade.' They were waiting for the samples to be finished.
If anyone see's these new albums...please share!!

I think they are almost like a magazine style - maybe like a coffee table book. I am not really sure and kind of curious myself since i have not done my album yet - maybe i will get the new one.
Maybe i will stop there tomorrow and see if they have a sample. I think they have one there.

I am reposting....it is like magazine style the edges are sharper than the classic style. The new one also doesn't have the silver border, it has a flush finish. I saw it today, it is very pretty. FH loved the classic style more and I loved them both.

I think we're going to have Duet make our album (we had an independent photographer and bought our negatives from her). I'm trying to decide between the two styles, so I want to hear what everyone else decides. MY DH likes their classic style, and it is less expensive so we might go that way.

I was just there on Saturday and they didn't have any samples. I'm so upset...I don't live in the city so I don't get out there often!!!
I guess I'll see them when we do the casual day pics!!
Are the samples in the studio now?

Oct04Bride, when I picked up my video 2 weeks ago, Eric had a sample of the new album, but I didn't look closely, because I knew it was more $$ and I was trying not to be tempted. Maybe it was just a loan from the album company and Duet is working on it's own sample album? That's just a guess. I am picking up another copy of my DVD this week, so I'll see if they have the sample of the new album when I stop by.

Anyone know how much more this tempting album is? How many pics does it hold? Is it the one that they send to Austrailia to do? I saw that one- its great.

We booked with them almost 2 months ago and they had the album there that you are talking about. It is the same size as the other albums (11x14) but it has flush pages (no boarder or silver rim) and they are pressed board. I don't really know what that means but it has something to do with the way that the pages are mounted on the board. We loved that album and already upgraded in the contract for that album. It was $300. But the standard album was beautiful too and we would have been very happy with that one too!

I really have to start to think about doing my album. I AM SO LAZY!!! But DH and I are in the middle of buying a house so i am a little busy.

I booked on Saturday, and they have an example of one of the new albums, the Fusion, with the heavy silver cover. Nicole gave me a sheet with several upgrades;
coffee table (soho)-- whch is digital 9x9 galleria--mat mounted
im getting more confused as i type this. I thought she said the others would be out around January

Right- the highest album that they have now is the Fusion album (the one I described in the above post). But it comes with a leather cover- not the heavy silver cover. Are there new albums other than that that are going to be available?
