We just got engaged on 7\28 and there are so many questions I have about my vendor or soon to be vendors. Any feedback about the Larkfield Manor? so Far thats our first choice. the Georgio's? We are going with In the Mood Dj Production. Any feedback would be greatly appreaciated !!!

I haven't heard anything about those two vendors. Somethings to consider when looking for a reception hall
how many guests? do you want to have the place all to yourself? what is your budget? it the place easy to find? are there hotels near by....especially if you are have OOT guests
I still have prices and such for all the vendors I checked out...FM if you want more detailed info.

I visited Larkfield Manor, that was my second choice! The guy we met with was great. The cocktail hour room is very pretty (I love the chairs, same as VYC) and you can have half of it outdoors which their installing a really nice outdoor bar area. The price was great, food selection was great (add on’s are pretty well priced) and he was very eager to work with us on the price to make it “just right”. The reception room right when you walk in the first thing you would see is the bride and groom dias which I liked. The room is very long with a long dance floor. They’re installing a huge long bar in that room also. There’s hidden camera’s all around the cocktail hour room and the bridal suite has a flat screen tv that you can see all of your guests with the hidden cameras. I loved that lol.

all i can say is that i've eaten at georgio's quite a few times and attended a wedding there once; it was very nice congrats on your engagement!!

I visited Giorgio's and I LOVED it. The food is great, and I'm a sucker for nice chairs and nice wood floors. It just looked more upscale and less tacky to me.

Congratulations!! I looked at Larkfield Manor and absolutely loved it!!! They seemed like they'd really be willing to work on price.....but FH didn't want to go to Suffolk if we could find a place in Queens or Nassau...which we did.
They gave me a price of $95pp for a Saturday night peak season.

first of all congrats,
I have to say I loved Larkfield manner. Definetely my second choice, I think I met with George, the nicest guy in the world. The place is gorgeous, although the larger room was really long, which is why we backed out ( we were too big for the other room). Also they are off a very busy road, but other than that, I love them, and the prices were excellent.
