Re: new eye cream
i use a cream from clinique called all about eyes that is great. i had a chemical burn on my face back in college from some terrible acne medication. when you get a chemical burn, even if you don't get anything on your eyes, some how, it makes your eye lids just flake off - dry, painful skin like you can't really imagine. ever since then, my eyelids (and face as a whole) has been EXTREMELY sensitive and the clinique cream is the only stuff that keeps my eyelids from being insanely dry and flakey all the time. i love it. it's a little expensive, but seriously worth every penny. HTH!

Re: new eye cream
i have the same problem... Unfortunately from what i read AND what i have tried no cream can really help,. I tried them all!! however, i read that a diet low in salt, plenty of sleep should help..yeah right... easier said than done..Also, home remedies like cool cumumbers..
sorry i wasn't much help.. i spent a fortune on an eye cream from the dermatogist & it didn't help a bit!

Re: new eye cream
honestly, no cosmetic cream can remove what has already been done... sorry... they're just all overpriced moisturizing lotions. That's why they're not considered 'drugs', and are not evalutated by the FDA.
if you're really serious about removing the minor wrinkles, go to the dermatologist.... a chem peel or dermabrasion... but I'm not sure how close they can go to the eye area with those... they must have some sort of peel that can go close to the eye.... (not collagen injections or botox, both are only temporary)
the REAL way to prevent wrinklage is to religiously use sun screen, not smoke, not sunbathe, and not drink too much booze....
I'm trying my best to do the sun screen.... the best way I think is a make-up that already contains it... then it becomes second nature...
Also, never forget basic healthy living.... eat a lot of veg, no artificial stuff, exercise, drink lots of water, and get a decent amount of sleep. that will at least keep dark circles and skin discolorations to a minimum...
hope this helps!!!

Re: new eye cream
My cousin used to work for Estee Lauder and she would buy me La Mer eye cream frm the company store. It's a little pricey but its fantastic!
I've also used clinique all about eyes - not too bad.
Hope that helps.

Re: new eye cream
I just started using Kheil's creamy eye treatment with avacado 2 weeks ago... so far so good. My eyes look less tired in the morning. You can get it at nordstrom.

Re: new eye cream
I just stared using the Avon Anew Alternative intensive eye cream ($25) It's worked really well on my moms dark circles. I've used it a little under a week so far and I am starting to see a difference.

Re: new eye cream
Hello girls I have been working in the cosmetics indusrty fvor 8 years now. I worked for Chanel and now I work for Clinique. If you want something that does a really good job on dark circles go get Hylexin. They sell it at the department stores and it is pricey but it really does work on dark circles. As for the wrinkles get an eye cream to help keep it moisturised and it will difuse the look of the wrinkles. I like Clinique repairwear. I usually wont spend more than 40 on an eye cream but i used Hylexin before the wedding and it was great! HTH

Strievectin. You can get it at all the big department stores. It's the eye cream that was originally used for stretch marks (it used to be prescription), & they made an unscented version for eyes. I love it. It's completely taken away the tiny creases/wrinkles under my eyes & the wrinkle in my forehead (I use it anywhere that I have a crease/wrinkle! - I'm age-phobic!). They have a sample at Macy's, just ask for it at the make-up counter.

Re: new eye cream
I currently use La Mer Eye Balm (Creme de la Mer) in the AM and love it.....but before that I used Stri-Vectin eye cream....both are amazing...
However, every night before I go to bed I slather on Vaseline all around me eyes and when I wake up my eyes look so youthful and plump!
edited for spelling :)

Re: new eye cream
I do like Clinique, but at night I usually take Aquafor and slather it around my eyes. It makes them nice and soft and was recommended to me by the dermatologist because the skin around my eyes were so dry due to the weather and allergies.
