New Florist...

New Florist...

There is a new florist located across the street from Jericho Terrace, a new preffered vendor of theirs called Distinctive Floral.. We stopped in and got thier prices.. the lady was very nice and we are thinking of booking?

Anyone using them or met with them?

I met with them and Maria was very friendly. I only had a few sample pics with me and they weren't exactly what I wanted, so i was trying to describe everything. The prices were the same as Pedestals, but when I saw the samples CPs, pedestals totally got what I wanted and distinctive didn't really have the same vision as me at all, the colors and everything were just off. I would have had to pay to see another sampled. HTH!

are the prices really that similar? I heard pedestals are more pricey

Pedestals gave me the same price but told me they were giving me a deal b/c my friend booked her wedding flowers there. The quote was for 17 low CPs, my bouquet, 3 BMs, 6 boutennierres, and a bunch of corsages. I would have thought pedestals would be more too.

I believe that they are the owners of glendale florist in queens who are very good. we got funeral flowers there for Fh's grandma and hey were beautiful.

I met with only flower michele and booked at our first meeting. I did a LOT of research on this site and already knew that's who I wanted to work with. My flowers are very important to me and I wanted to do something different, so I was not really shopping-price comparing. (I'll eventually have pics on album)

Also, I'm planning from out-of-state, so I did not want to spend my time seeing various vendors for one thing.

But each person is different, and if you are concern that you won't get a good deal, you defo have to shop around.

for my 2 cents - meet with John at Flower Michele. His work is beautiful and always right on.

Anyone have any more info on this florist? I am struggling between them (Distinctive/Glendale Florist) and Flowers by Brian.

I have never seen either of their work...

Distinctive/Glendale Florist is the same owner and they BOTH quoted us for 18 high CP, 11 boutonnières, FG, RB, 2MOH, 3BM, 2JBM- Gerber/hydrangeas, roses, calla Lilly's of 45/50 stems per CP.

One is 2100 cash and the other is 2400.

HELP!
