Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
I went to see Heart and Soul a few weeks ago at Fox Hollow. They sang for about a half hour. They took some requests at the end. They didn't serve any food or drinks. You just sit and listen. It was fun though! They are a great band.

I think they will give you a couple of dollars credit but i'm not certain. you can also speak to their bakery about upgrades (i believe they use erga bakery) good luck!

Yes - they were willing to add cocktail hour stations for us, and I asked about the chocolate fountain instead, so they were going to waive some of the cost of that in place of the cake.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Hi ladies! So this has been bugging me since I booked at Fox Hollow. Our ceremony starts at 8pm. Do any of you girls have the same start time and if so what are you doing about pictures? I really wanted some daylight pictures but I don't think that is going to be able to happen. I am hoping some of you are in the same boat and can give some words of advice. Thanks!!

what room are you in? their start times go by room size, so the bigger room starts at 7pm, briar fox at 7:30 and I think WGP 8:30.

they are very strict on the times that things start so i don't think you will be able to move it up unless when it gets closer, they will if there isn't a wedding before you.
as for pictures, are you seeing your FH before the ceremony? maybe you can go somewhere for pictures before going to the fox hollow.

Yea, my problem isn't moving the time up I know I won't be able to and I like that it is a night wedding. I just wanted to be able to get some daylight pics in and am concerned that if it is dark we won't get any good pics. I am seeing FH before the ceremony so we can be at cocktail hour!

What about meeting somewhere before the ceremony to do pics with your FH? Like, we are going to Centerport at the Vanderbilt to do pictures, maybe thats a possibility?

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
I was thinking that... the sun will go down by 5 so that means I would have to be wayyyy ready before the ceremony and I don't know if that is a good idea!! I might just have to pray my photographer is good with the dark!!!

maybe call your photographer and ask them for their suggestions, i'm sure they have dealt with this type of situation before.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Fox Hollow brides who are getting married at the Fox Hollow, Do they allow you to have bubbles? And what happens if it rains and your ceremony ends up inside? And I obviously do not want to be a bar of soap after the vows, how many bubbles should i get? Not every person needs them, its really only the people who are basically like right in front and close to the isle right?

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Hi Ladies, just posting a few photos of my uplighting in the WGP and Erga Bakery cake. For all Brides who've worried about the house bakery, they did a GREAT job. I didn't want fondant (not crazy about the taste) so instead I purchased my own sugar flowers and provided them to the bakery with a photo and paid a small fee to upsize my cake. For $100 it was beyond perfect!!!
