Re: New fox hollow thread
FH and I won a gift certificate for a night at Fox Hollow and dinner for two at their restaurant...we have off for the next few days and decided to use it tonight! I'll be sure to post tomorrow and let you ladies know how it was!

When i recently booked with Fox Hollow, Ken said that the lighting is included. However, only ONE color for the entire night is included. If I wanted the colors the change throughout the night, I can pay extra.
As far as the TV's, I was under the impression that the TV's will be behind the walls unless we were using them....? Seeing blank screens on the wall is not too attractive.
Would love to know more.
ummm this makes me mad because i was never told this and booked the lighting thru body rock and got charged for it in my package

Re: New fox hollow thread
I have a question about linens. Do you know if they offer grayish/silver linens. My colors are navy blue and silver and don't want to do blue table cloths because it will be too dark, but then the ivory ones seem so plain. i was also thinking of ivory table cloths with blue napkins...ideas?Another question, what color are the chairs in the WGP, when I went I saw them white. Wondering if they have them in silver....
Thanks!

Re: New fox hollow thread
Does anyone know if bathroom baskets are supllied at the Fox hollow. Should I be going out to buy toiletries and just supply my own baskets??? I don't know if this matters or not but my reception is in the garden terrace

I think they're white with sage green seat cushions.

Re: New fox hollow thread
so we went to Fox Hollow and stayed in the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant. Everything was absolutley amazing. We were so impressed with the food and service. After dinner we wanted to sneak a peek at the Somerley. The room gets better everytime we see it!!The hotel was stunning. The room was so clean....I never wanted to leave that comfy bed! Looking forward to doing it all over again on our wedding night!

Re: New fox hollow thread
I just called Ken at Fox Hollow and Body Rock because I am very upset about the TV/Lighting issue arising for us Somerley brides. Here is what I found out.Ken said the TV's will be visible and can only be used by Body Rock. Paul at Body Rock said for a 50 picture montage with your choice of music and live pictures throughout the wedding will cost $850. I asked if he can work a price out for only a montage or two (because that is really all we want) and he said the price is not flexible becasue the technician has to be there for four hours either way. This really irritated me so I asked if the TVs can be hidden/covered if we do not use them and apparently Fox Hollow's decorating person is between mirrors and paintings as a cover up.
Is anyone who booked another DJ also furious about this??? grrrr.

I was told over the phone by Body Rock that the TVs were $750 and they could work out something if all you wanted to do was the photo montage. Its BS if they want to charge more and that they can't be flexible with this!!!

I really hope they cover those TV's tastefully because it will take away from the room if they don't.

I don't understand why i was quoted for $850 and with no flexibility. Is it because I booked a different DJ for my wedding and not them?
I don't know when they are going up, but these TV's are a bad idea.

It's such a beautiful rustic room, if there are tvs not in use just sitting there, I think it will look terrible. They shouldn't install them and just have ppl do plasma packages through their dj if needed, like everywhere else. Even with them pre-installed in the room, you still have to go to a DJ Co. Makes no sense to me at all!
