How much more cake did you add? The ones Fox Hollow include are rather cheesy, and not really my taste.
I thought the cakes looked nice in the photo album that they showed me. (I just visited today- loved it!)
Don't worry i thought they were nice too...i rather use the cheesy cake and put $400 towards something else but that's coz I'm a bride on a super duper budget lol

Re: New fox hollow thread
Maybe they have a diff album bc the ones I saw were def outdated and I am not picky. My cake could not be any more simplistic (2 out of 3 layers are just flat with no design) and would have loved to spend the money elsewhere as well....

They are very simple and they do offer the square ones. Not sure if it's been changed, but I definitely do not want to spend a penny more on cake. What flavors did you girls get?

Re: New fox hollow thread
You can redesign the cakes they show you to your liking with no extra charge. If you see in our pro photos, the cake we choose to redesign was the square dot cake they show you in the book. What we told Jen during our final meeting was we wanted it round instead of square and the top tier to be elevated. Our florist decorated the rest of the cake for us. Btw the flavors we choose was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and ivory whipped cream icing. It was soooo good.

OMG are you serious. Why didn't they tell me that? Did you do fondant? We chose red velvet with cream cheese and fresh straw filling.

I'm so happy to hear this. Does Francesco's show you the book or do you see the book at your final meeting with Fox Hollow? Thanks! :)

We picked the whipped cream frosting. Fondant would be too sweet for a chocolate cake.
They showed us the book when booking and then again in the final meeting and thats when we went over another design off the cake in the book. Jenn said anything can be fixed on the cakes they show you. Example: Round, square, no decoration, raised tiers etc

Re: New fox hollow thread
Does anyone know if Fox Hollows allows a candy bar? I know some reception halls are picky about bringing in outside food. I'm wondering if they allow this because I think that will be our favor. TIA!!

Anyone know if they have something they give you to help you figure out seating arrangements for the room? Almost like a map of the room so you can figure out tables , etc?

At your final appointment they will give you this information.

They do allow candy buffets, but I believe all the packaging has to be unopened. If you have a DOC, they would be the best person to set it up. And Fox Hollow has plenty of tables. They will give you whatever you need :)

Add-ons are different dishes at cocktail hour and stations. I swapped a station for the martini bar because it is just so much food! You can also upgrade your entrees, your desserts and passed appetizers as well. Jen at Fox Hollow emailed me the add-ons list before our meeting so I could look it over and decide what I wanted.

Can someone FM me an email address for questions to ask? I booked a while back and questions keep popping into my mind. Can someone tell me how many people are at a table? And can I go in to look at the table linens prior to the final meeting? I am gonna get anxiety if I have to wait til one month before!
