Hi ladies!
I'm having my wedding in the winter garden room. FH and I are going back and forth with the idea of having a photobooth. Do they allow the FB in the room? If so do you know where they put it?
thanks!
i was also thinking about a photobooth as well...how many people are you inviting to your wedding? I also worry about the room not being big enough to comfortably fit a photobooth and sometimes the booths have long lines. so i gave that idea up, especially if you guys say that they are gonna be outside the room!!! i rather my guest be on the dance floor than standing on a line! my photographer is going to be walking around from table to table taking pictures, maybe i can get him to bring some props and people can take silly pics at the table and then ill just make a shutterfly website so they can get their pics. i dunno... :(
I'm inviting around 150... expecting about 120? I plan on stopping over there sometime this week to drop off a payment. I don's see why someone couldn't arrange the table's so we can comfortably fit a photo booth. to be honest I really don't care where it is in the room, I just don't want it outside and would really be upset because this is something FH and I really wanted and have made sure we budgeted properly for it!
I do like the Ideas for the props at the tables for people to still take funny pictures. I think that is for sure a nice alternative.

I'm pretty sure they do CH for WGP in either the restaurant or in the Fox Hunt room. No way they can do CH in WGP. Its too small and it would be impossible to change it over without intruding on the celebration.

Re: New fox hollow thread
hey girlsIm having my reception in the Som. Room....does anyone know if its even possible to arrange the room differently? Instead of having the tables on one side of the room and the dance floor opened on the opposite end (city style?), I would rather have the dance floor in the center of the room with the tables throughout the both sides.
Would this work at all?
When I first booked the room, i thought it was clever and different but now im starting to worry that it's not the best idea for the old folks who just like to 'watch' everything going on!!

Re: New fox hollow thread
I think if the tables where on the opposite side it was interfere with the entrance into the RH and also the entrance into the lounge. Doesnt hurt to ask though if you really dont like the current setup

Re: New fox hollow thread
Unfor they only take 1/3d off the price whether it is their vendor or outside. They also only take that off kids which is ridiculous. If you find out about them being able to change the setup of the room I would love to know. Thanks

I kind of agree. The 1/3 off for vendors doesn't bother me, but I was surprised when we were told that only AFTER our minimum are kids 1/3 off. The only kids we'll be having will be 6, 4 & 2 so I don't see how they'll eat as much as older kids or even the adults...oh well....

I guess they will do anything to get money out of us. Sad.

Francesco's Bakery in Hicksville. I added more to my cake then the cheesy ones the Fox includes and only payed an additional $400.

How much more cake did you add? The ones Fox Hollow include are rather cheesy, and not really my taste.

Re: New fox hollow thread
The ones the Fox shows you look like they are from the 80's lol. I made mine square with 3 layers and the are adding a seperate sheet cake in case its not enough bc I didn't want a 4 tier. The are doing piping on one of the layers and are adding my colored ribbon and rhinestones to each layer.

I thought the cakes looked nice in the photo album that they showed me. (I just visited today- loved it!)
