Welcome and Congratulations!!! I would start looking into halls...Get a feel for the prices and for the budget that you have. You dont have to book it right now, but if you find somthing that you love, and you think the price is good...book it. We do have time...but I am a planner and I need to know what I am doing, so I liked the idea of booking early!

we got right to booking our hall but thats cuz i was super excited to look, we lucked out and only saw 4 before booking, some girls see 20! so if you think you will be indecisive then be sure to get a head start so you arent stressed.
do you have an idea of a date that you want? which day? afternoon or evening? i'm gonna find a link for you that i gave to someone that had some info on halls and also a list of questions to ask the hall

Welcome:) I am fairly new on LIW myself, but I can tell you that I am one anxious bride-to-be. I have already booked most of my vendors, my reception hall and the Church. Many of the vendors advise to book now because they will lock you into 2008 prices. They told me by next year there prices will be going up, so if you are sure of something you want, I would recommend to book and lock in the lower prices. The first thing we booked was the reception hall and then the church. Everything else just seemed to fall into place after that:)
