Hello everyone!!! and congrats to all. This is my first time posting, I am sure there are the same questions I am asking going around on the site but here they are again =].. I live in staten island, our wedding is set for September 5th 2010, labor day weekend!!!! It will be held in brooklyn, I am russian so it will be a typical russian restaurant wedding(for those who are russian you know what i mean ;])... I have ordered my dress already from Macy's Bridal Salon by Demetrios. Very excited for it to come in!! I was hoping to get some feedback on makeup and hair people. I would love for someone to come to my house the day of it will be that much better for me, but if they do not offer that service I am willing to go to them. Any suggestions for hair and makeup in Staten Island, or in other borough's that will travel? As well as any suggestion for bridesmaid dress stores and MOB dress stores? Much appreciated

For dresses, i know there is Theresas Bridal, Metropolitan Bridal, and Angels Bridal in staten island (i live there as well). I know there are others, but i cant think of them off the top of my head.
Hair and Makeup i dont know because i dont get anything done there...

I met a really lovely woman named Irina who lives in Queens but will travel to you for makeup if you want her contact info. I met her at a bridal expo last year. I believe she's Russian too. FM me if you want her info.

CONGRATS and WELCOME date twin!!!! We're getting married the same day! I can't really help with hair and makeup but there are a couple places on Long Island that you can try for BM dresses and MOB dresses! I went to the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park and my FSIL went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequz!

I'm going to hopefully have hair and makeup come to me too but I don't have much info just yet as my wedding is in 2011 I found one makeup artist though, Alaine Handa. Her trial is in Manhattan but she's willing to travel day of. If you would like her info FM me
