I'm biased since I'm booked with CLM - I love Nick the banquet manager and I've only heard good things about CLM and they're pretty reasonable. You should definitely check them out. I did hear Land's End is beautiful also.

you will 100% be able to get CLM cheaper, CLM is almost half the price of Land's End for a saturday

however CLM & Land's End are very different

You need to go check out both places for yourself

The food at Land's End is supposedly some of the best catering hall food, Ive never had it but people always rave about it

Ive had CLM food at a tasting and it was amazing!!!

Another pretty place on the water is Bridegview Yacht Club

If you have under 150 people, I'd suggest Lombardi's on the Bay

as for the things hanging, that is done by the florist, I have no idea how much it costs but when we went to see Land's End the sales lady told us to contact Lovin Oven for the price

and ps your wedding date is FH & I's anniversary!

'balls' were an extra grand when we went to check them out haha

but if you're able to afford Land's End - GO FOR IT!!!

well dont get mad everyone but theres no comparison between land's end and CLM and i love both places.

The tulle hanging from the ceiling us $1500 and its done by lovin oven florist. the lanterns are $500.

i think the ceiling needs something so you could discuss your concerns w the florist.

I've been to both venues as guests, and I have to say that if you got a great price on Lands End- GO FOR IT!!

But definitely check out both venues for yourself before you make any decisions!

Ksugar44, who are you using to do the drapery? Do you have a picture of what it will look like? I am definately leaning towards Lands End. I'll just be taking a chance at the end of October, can be cold, but maybe not :0)

I'm using lovin oven florist....Keyth has a way now to do the draping (much cheaper than the outside companies that used to have to come in)...I only have a black and white photocopy of a photo that he gave me. If you make an appointment with them he has much better pics. They also do the lanterns.
