New Indian Bride to be

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sheethal and I'm getting married on Sept 4, 2006. I think this desi thread is a great idea for girls like me who always need a second opinion.

I was wondering if any of you guys have used DJ Sharad/DJ Unlimited South Asia. My fiance and I were thinking of going with them b/c we've heard so much about them and we have attended 2 weddings in which they were the DJ.

Also we're having difficulty finding a church for our Orthodox Christian ceremony in Nassau County. I've always wanted to get married in a big, beautiful church but if you're not Catholic, they won't let you.

Thanks,
Sheethal

I used DJ Sharad for my wedding. They were OK... They were overpriced but we kind of procrastinated.

Dj sharad prices is tooo ridiculous!!! Their prices are outrages!
I went to them once and they gave me a price... which was too high. Then I went back a couple weeks ago and he gave me a different price which was way more than the first price. They just totally changed the price. I didnt like how they do things.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your support and help. We were able to get a beautiful church in Merrick (St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church) which we love! We also already have a DJ, Photo/Video, Florist, Limo, Hotel rooms blocked, etc. I still have a lot to do but hopefully it will get done quickly. Goodluck with everyone's planning!!
