New JACK station 101.1

New JACK station 101.1

What do you girls think of the new JACK station...101.1. It seems like its a '101.1' station for those of us in our late 20's, early 30's (a nice mix of rock, pop & disco).

I can't beleive they changed the format...I LOVED listening to oldies...now we have no radio station to listen to that type of format....such a shame...I can listen to the type of music that JACK plays on about fifty different stations...

I grew up listening to WCBS-FM, so I'm pretty sad about the 'sudden' switch. Supposedly, none of the staff knew until Friday afternoon.

For me, it really is the end of an era.

I listened to the station over the weekend...it is...OKAY.

I agree 100%.

The way that they switched formats was so disrespectful to their DJs and listeners.

I had wcbs as my alarm clock station for years. I'm NOT happy. I woke up to z100 this morning -- I thought it was awful; no music and just those weird morning show inside jokes.

any suggestions for a new alarm clock station???

We have a JACK station here in LA that just started recently. They play wierd songs- you could have Led Zeppelin followed by ABBA- is it like that? Just curious.

i am in my late 20's and i listened today for a short time and did not like it at all! i liked the oldies! it's like my childhood memories are now only going to come from downloading the music or buying it!

I think they shoud have kept it the way it was. There are so many mix stations now it's nice to hear something different once in a while! I missed listening to 101.1 while hanging out BBQing yesterday. Is there another Oldies station we can listen to now?
