NEW JERSEY GIRLS

I see from time to time people posting about how they live in New Jersey - but are getting married in NY or even getting married in NJ - but need help and the NJ boards aren't fun...

I was just wondering how many of us there are!!!!!

I'm Jessica - i live in an apartment in Basking Ridge, work in South Plainfield & i'm getting married at the Fox Hollow!

I grew up on Long Island and am getting married up there.
We live in the Cherry Hill, NJ area, FH grew up down here.

Hi! I'm born and raised in Nassau County, left at 27 to live in NYC. Met my Morris County boyfriend (now Fiance) in 2001 and we live in Boonton, NJ - it's near Parsippany.

We're getting married on LI because most of my family is from there and some of my friends still live out there.

I can't use the NJ boards since obviously, none of the vendors etc. will work for us.

hi Jersey girl here with no connection to LI. lol Somehow I ended up here and I love all the reviews and posts that go on here daily. I was just on the 08 board telling the NJ girls there that I found a new NJ message board for all those who have been looking. Theres not much in comparison to this board but I know at times I find myself loving a LI vendor but everything I am doing is in NJ so I am trying not to pick to many LI vendors. I know I just absolutely love pennylane prod. But thats besides the point. Brides planning a new jersey wedding can check out njweddingforum.com, just started so i would check back soon. I grew up on LI and am getting married there, but will be staying in NJ. FH is from Philly, so it's kind of the middle point.

Jersey Girl Here too... I'm from originally from Monmouth County. I was living in Hoboken for a while then a little over a year ago I moved in w/ my husband in Long Island b/c he owns his business here and well... he had the house so no more renting.

Anyway... we got married in NJ b/c that's where I'm from and living in LI so one of my LI friends told me about this site and it helped sooo much w/ the planning. Even used some NY vendors.
