this is my goal and after my wedding i am going to do it for real after planning this i am hooked and wanted to go.
i dont know of any companies yet

Have you looked at any of the nonprofits on the Island? They do all of their fundraising through events... Often the Executive Directors and the asst's to the EDs are the event planners.

I used to do that in Jersey and went to college for Public Relations. after the wedding I'd love to go looking again... I've been doing Sales Support and Marketing too Long so I'm ready for a change. Wanna open a business together? LOL! Kidding... gotta get money first

No, I actually just moved here less than a year ago. Best places to check is the city. Something in PR or something.
