I'm relatively new to LIweddings and have hardly posted, but have already found this website unbelieveably helpful thanks to everyone's endless help and information!!
I just got engaged in November and will be aiming for a August/September 2009 wedding. I currently live in Boston with my fiance, but we are both from LI and will be having our wedding there. For this reason, this site is even more helpful for an out of towner!
Our engagement party is booked at the Three Village Inn for June 8th!! Anyone have any experience working with them?
We will also be home on LI next weekend to begin looking at RHs and also attending the Lovin Ovin Bridal Showcase. Anyone going to be there???

Welcome and Congratulations!! I am sorry I don't know about three village in. Lovin Oven may sound good. I believe I may be in LI as well. I need to go to a showcase.

Congrats and welcome! I've heard great things about the Three Village Inn and looked at them for my wedding. It seemed like a great deal and the girl I spoke with was very nice. We ended up booking Villa Lombardi's instead.

Yup, it's at Flowerfield on Sunday January 27th from 1-4. I don't know how helpful it will be for us since we're not booked yet, but it will be nice to get some ideas while we're home.
I think you have to RSVP for it, so I would suggest going to Flowerfield's website.
