New Plus Size Bride Thread!!!!

Just wanted to start a new thread for us plus size Brides.
I also wanted to share this with all of you Last Tuesday I went to try on my Dress and it was BIG!!!!!! I can't believe it the Hoodia is working really well for me!!! I'm so Happy that they have to take it in!!!!!


How are all of you ladies doing???

I hope that I have the same 'problem,' but at this point I'm thinking that it's unlikely Oh well, all I can do is keep trying!

That's great news Marly!! I hope on August 14th at my first fillting, my dress will be big too!!

Your Very Welcome!!!! Hey we need to be able to share all of our good and bad time with each other. Especially when others don't understand what it's like to be a plus size. No offence to anyone.

I've lost 2 dress sizess and 2 cup sizes!!! I Had my final fitting and the seamstress told me to stop losing weight

Oh well..... Excuse to eat ice cream for the next 10 days!! and then back to losing!!!

Marly, thank you so much for starting this thread. Your dress is gorgeous and you look beautiful. I am dreading my first fitting on July 26 because I don't feel like I have lost enough weight, but FH keeps telling me that I am doing good..I just wish that I could see what he sees.

My FH is the same way with me he sees things that I don't. We have all (You, I & all the ladies here.) been blessed to have FHs who LOVE us as we are Big & Beautiful!!!!!

Hey ladies, jumpin in!
I was just missing our old thread, but a new dawn, a new day. I was feeling skinny today. But no I feel kinda poopy, prob homones TMI in 3..2..1 It's my time of the month (I recently found out TOTM) I'm a bit slow sometimes. I plan to go back to the gym tommorow and hit this thing head on. I want to be a 14 by the time HM rolls around!

I've been writing everything down that I eat, it makes it REAL that way! I've stopped eating white flour products.

Also, dislocating your shoulder at work and being put on workmans comp 3 weeks before your wedding and closing on our house 19 days before our wedding added to my stress that i've had NO appetite which never happens to me.

Usually the more stressed I get the more Crap I eat!!

But I think the secret it to be conscious about everything you put in your mouth. I've still snuck a bowl of ice cream or two. But I put it on my list of food for the day.

I am the same way- I eat when I am stressed too!! How is your shoulder btw? Is it really painful? How are you coping being out of work with the wedding so close?

I learned a long time ago it's not what you eat, it's how much of it you eat.

I also have been cutting down the Carbs.

Ehhh I have good days and bad days. It's pretty pathetic but I can't even dress or undress myself!! FH has to help me put my bra on and at night.....well you know

I've been given permission by the orthopedist to raise my arm to put my wedding dress on the day before the wedding. I still can't lift anything......Oh well I guess it could be worse
