I actually just woke up a little over an hour ago. FH let me sleep in and had coffee ready for me when I got up.

I think that I am going to start to do some work on my invitations this afternoon.

I ordered FHs Grooms gift over teh weekend - I had been going back and forth for about 2 months and some of the ladies here helped me to finally decide on something I ordered a name/address plaque for our house

Good morning my fave ladies! I'm down another 2 pounds, bringing me to 24!! It's such hard work, but so worth it! Hope you're all seeing excellent results as well!

Anywho, I was hoping you ladies could help me out. I am trying to find a dress for my shower and some HM clothes. Do you girls have any favorite websites you use for clothes? I've already tried Lane Bryant, Alight, Igigi, Old Navy, Casual Plus, and Dillards. TIA!

Ok, so I am finally ready to post on this chat hehehehe

Hi, I'm Melissa and I am chubby bride hahaha

I have always been on the more 'vuluptuous' side. Even when I lose I never lose it in my hips, butt, or boobs...hahaha. FH loves me the way I am but he is also a chubster so haha we match. I ordered my gown in April and it just came in, AND IT FIT!!!! YAY! It's actually a little big in the hips! AND shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I don't have to wear a bra with it. It fits better without it and I am packin' 40DD's!! Ok, so here is a pic of me, a pic of me and FH and me in my dress =) Thanks for making this chat...:::sigh:::I feel better already =)

I used to work at Avenues...try there. they have some very cute things and the summer stuff is already on sale becasue they already have their fall stuff in. Fashion Bug has some cute stuff too

As far as clothes I was at Lane Bryant the other day and they had some really nice stuff. There is also the Avenue and I remember another post about Silhouettes (think that I totally mangled the spelling on that one).

I went on June 15th for my first dress fitting. When I ordered it in Jan they said I was between sizes and suggested that I order the bigger size. I told them no, I wanted it 2 sizes smaller than what they recomended (it's corset and I was loosing weight, but haven't lost any since I ordered it, weight loss is at a stand still right now) So i get it and it fits perfectly. This is good and bad. Good thing I didn't listen to them in the first place, it would have been huge. But now if I do loose more weight then I am not sure how much the dress will cinch up. (I live in NYC but am getting married in St .Louis so the dress is in St. Louis, I won't see it again until the week before the wedding, ) so i am just nervous about loosing too much weight. I would say 25 lbs is all that I can afford if I want it to still fit. There is no way someone could alter it the week before the wedding. :(

Congrats on your wieght loss!!!! Even tho you are a stand still right now, your still loosing inches. For every 10lbs you loose is 1 dress size.
