New Plus Size Bride Thread!!!!

That's ladies!

What a fantastic support group!

Aw I wa just going to post about how I have been beating myself up lately, haven't had time to go to the gym, to busy to eat well, so pizza and fast food oh my!!! I am feeling very badly lately about my body but yet cannot stop eating! My fitting is in less than 2 weekes and I am getting nervous!!!

Patty, you look gorgeous, very pretty dress.

I know we will all look pretty in the dresses, but I was 30 lbs lighter when FH and I started dating and am feeling self concious. Oh well, after this 'cycle' I gotta get back on board!

Getting super-nervous.

I haven't even opened the box with my dress.

Going to search for my long line bra in an hour or so! Ugh...so not looking forward to the experience. Should I wear my Spanx too? I would need something to suck my hips in.

Def bring the spanx! A friend of mine bright hers too late in her fitting process, and it effected how the hips portion of her dress should have been altered!

Good afternoon!!! I am actually going to my second shower today. My first one was last Sunday. I am just sitting here waiting to go. I did acomplish my DIY invites this weekend and am very proud of them. One more thing I can cross off my list!!!

I found, for myself, that sweetheart neckline looked the best. My bust size is 38D and that neckline looks really pretty without being too much. I also have a relatively small waist but big hips. So for me, I went with an A-line gown to accentuate my waist and skim my hips. GL! Have fun with it! HTH!

I can't believe how fast September got here!!!!!


I made an appointment for a new Hair/Make-up trial with the new hairdresser.

I will be seeing her on Sept. 11th. Plus I have my First fitting on the same day!!!!!!

Wow Sept here already. I don't have a neckline since mine is strapless. I found the waistline to be very flattering on every dress I tried on. It made me look smaller . I think my saleperson was trying to empahasize on that area since it was strapless. I went for my last fitting Saturday and it was perfect. I was really panicking because of weight issues but it fit snug with room to breathe. Ahhh one thing off my list now I can relax alittle. How are everyone else with thier dresses?
