Bumping!

What are some things you found flattering on dresses you tried on? Any necklines or silhouettes look better than others over all?

trying to make gown and BM dress shopping as painless as possible.

I was dreading going dress shopping, but it turned out to be fun. I ended up with the very first dress that I tried on. It is off the shoulder, which I like because it kind of draws attention away from my bust. Try on different styles, because you never know what style is going to be right for you.

Thanks. I don't like shopping in the first place.. I know gasp! I remember shopping for a prom gown, I saw one I liked, tried it on, looked great and I bought it. Done.

So maybe this won't be as rough as I think it will be.

I went with a dress that would be flattering to my body type, I have a V-neck A-line, Sleeveless Dress. I have pictures in my album.

Try Phllis at Bridal Elegance, she is in the huntington/dix hills shop. Also try Davids, I got my dress there, they have every size. So even if you go to a bridal shop, you will get an idea of what type of dress looks good. I know for me, they have these dresses that pull to the side at the waist and it makes you look so tiny in the waist, def A line. GL, let us know how it goes

Good Afternoon Ladies!!!

Just wanted to say a quick hello and wanted to check in to see how everybodies planning is coming along.

How is everyone doing today???
I got alot done this past week, with the help of my MOH. We put together all of my Favors and bagged the M&Ms. We did all of the Place Cards and started boxing up everything for our Wedding. We picked out all of the pictures and 2 songs that are being used for our Video, I put together the music list for the DJ.


Just a few odds and ends left to do.

I just wanted to say thank you for your advice ladies. I got over my dress shopping fears and went with my mother. It was sooooo much fun. Anyway check out my pictures.

I just wanted to say that Autumn08, I love the dresses that you picked. I'm torn between the 1st and last one. I loved the touch of color on the last one. Beautiful!!!!!

We've been picking through pictures for our video too. I have a couple of cute ones of FH. His family weren't big on pictures, so I'm happy I have a few to choose from.

We also did the guys tuxes, except for my pop's. We booked our limos today too. So I feel I have accomplished something.
