Who should I make the check out to for a wedding I can not attend. I am sending the check today...but their wedding is not til beginning of September. Make it out to their married names, or just right it to the girl in her maiden name, or just write is out to cash(which I hate to do, feel its so impersonal!) Thanks!!!
Being that the wedding is not until september I would make it out to the brides maiden name, b/c they may not have gotten a joint account yet. I personally don't like making them out to cash for the fact that it's impersonal and I also feel like what if it gets sent to the wrong person...anyone can cash it.

i know alot of people think its tacky but i would write it to cash that way you know they won't have a problem cashing it
I would make it out to the girl's maiden name, so she could cash it now.
