Is anyone marrying into a different religion and culture? I need advice to keep sanity!

hello! Another Turk here! I have many close friends who have had interfaith marriages. I can def imagine what you are going through. I think you're awesome and super strong, not everyone could do this. I just wanted to say that this will pass. Once the wedding is said and done, it will be you and him, living happily ever after, God willing. by the way, you have an fm. xoxo

I had the same problem. For the 1st 4 yrs of our relationship, I was never allowed to go to his house or family functions, bc I'm not muslim. It's ok now, but I still hv to convert. Trying to learn turkish, very difficult. My FH has been to many weddings in his family where the parents haven't gone. Very hard.

Do plan on embracing islam? Are you converting just to marry him?

I plan on embracing Islam yes. And I pretty much have to covert otherwise his parents would probably not come to the wedding or ever speak to us
