New Show
While home for lunch, i turned on mtv and there was a show on called 'If You Really Knew Me'.....they break a high school up into several groups and have what they call a Challenge Day.
Challenge Days require a lot from the students including admissions about their own lives. Its amazing what these kids are going through. But the point of the show is to expand the kids knowledge of other kids in the school that they may have judged based on religion, race, money....anything!!
Its amazing!! Seriously, i was almost in tears!!! I feel like this should be part of regular curriculum in schools.
Unfortunately, I'm sure that the lessons learned donnt stick with a lot of the kids past a week but even just the fact that they went through that and that people are trying to reach out to them is amazing!!!
Thats all, i just felt like i needed to throw that out there. Hahaha, sorry its so long and probably makes no sense hahaha.
