Had my appt's again today, and the good news is I am having irregular contractions. Not sure if that's great news or not, but I'm happy I'm having some kind of contractions. I'm hoping they become regular very soon! Had another sono today, but they didn't take any measurements... I go again on Friday (if I make it until then, when they will do the measurements again). Although the baby is estimated at 10 pounds, both the high risk and my regular doctor said I can try to go natural, and then if things stop, I will have to have a c-section, but at least I'm able to give it a shot. Thanks to all who helped me and responded to my post the other day!
are you dialted at all? how come they havent induced you? good luck! keep us posted and try to stay comfortable!

Re: New sono: 40 weeks 2 days
I just wanted to tell you that I had GD and they estimated my daughter to be 10 pounds or more based on the sonograms I had every week for the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy. I delivered vaginally at 39 weeks and 4 days with the help of the epidural and my daughter was only 8lbs 12 ounces. SO....they can be incorrect in their estimations of how much the baby weighs and I would hate for you to not try to deliver vaginally and then the baby not be that big. Good luck!!

This is great news!! Remember that women do 'labor down' a bit. You can ask Victoria about this. So sometimes slow up for a bit, and it is for good reason. Don't let them rush you into an OR just because you are not going by their clock. I hate that they put a time clock on women now. Be strong. Be healthy. Have a wonderful birthing experience
