New Teeth

Ok, so my television lives on the WE channel, and last night, i was watching rich bride poor cride (thats one of my favorites) and they had a commercial for snap on teeth.
This may sound crazy, but i'm going to do it.
Its like a complete coverup of your own teeth, it slips on sorta like invisalign does. Its made of a very durable resin, and it doesn’t fall out your mouth

Has anyone here tried it ?
Are you going to get any teeth work done before the big day ?

Awww. . .geez , if i ever had self esteem problems, I’d definitely know where to go. You guys are such a supportive team.

My teeth aren’t 100% perfect; I personally think I need a lot of work. I made an appointment to get a veneer replaced that I had done a few years ago, and I no long like its appearance. And then my bottom row needs braces badly ( I think) and it wont be corrected in time for the wedding. I plan on getting invisalign after the wedding to correct the bottom. But just to have that picture perfect smile, ya know ?

I totally know. I got invisalign and I'm doing the Listerine whitening pre-brush rinse and I'll prob have my teeth prof whitened (after NEVER having whitened them before). So I know what you mean.

How much are they? Can you justify it if it's only for a temporary fix? At least invisalign will be somewhat permanent... My bottom row was crooked too and I only had to wear them for 11 weeks, maybe you should still look into that. Was it too much? Most dentists will work out a pmt plan..

those are kind of interesting. i guess that must be what hollywood actors use in movies and such to change the look of their teeth for films

but like the others said--i think your teeth look great. you don't have to have 100% perfection...you should look like you that day. besides what if they start to bother you and feel uncomfortable on the big day. you could have some pics with fake teeth and some with your regular teeth!

supposedly, they dont fall out, and they make them as comfortable as possible for you.

and as far as me switching back and forth . . . NO ONE WILL EVERY SEE ME UNSNAPPING MY TEETH ON MY WEDDING DAY !!!

this is awesome i went for an evalouation to get this a few onths ago but unfortunatly i was not a candidate for it my teeth are too damaged, The dentist said its mainly for people who have gaps or slightly crooked teeth.

well in my case my back teeth are all broken i have notheing for it to latch on to....if you are just doing it for slight cosmetic reasons than go for it....but if you have really bad teeth issues like me than you wont be able to get it....the price is $1500 per arch....so if you are getting it for top and bottom be ready to shell out $3,000

I was willing to pay about 1500 tops, but 3k ?? I will just get whitening done, and replace one of my veneers.

Seems likes something pretty interesting to do but if you're going to spend 3k for something like that, you might as well invest in Invisalign for a couple more dollars and have them fix your teeth premantly.

Your teeth look fine to me too - not like mine all spacy and whatnot.
