New to 2015 Brides!!

Hi There...I actually found this board prior to getting engaged...I was looking for a hair and makeup person for my daughters sweet 16 and was successful...I am Jen and happily engaged :)
I am a bit overwhelmed...My daughters sweet 16 at the Sterling is in January, and because this is my second marriage I wanted a small wedding, but my fiancé has never been married so I am not sure what we will do,I do know it will be a lot of last minute planning as we are aiming for summer 2015 but not definite yet. We are going to pinpoint a date after the sweet 16. How do you plan 2 affairs in the same year??
I am so excited to join this board....and it already has given me many ideas. I don't really know protocol for first time husband 2nd time brides so I am kind of winging it....

Planning two big events will be fun but stressful.

You can use a lot of the same vendors for both though and maybe they can give you a better deal since you'll be booking them twice? Fingers crossed!

Thank you!! The sterling for the sweet 16 is all inclusive and we are going definitely on a smaller venue for the wedding.I wish I could afford two big parties lol...but I think for 2nd time around I want to definitely do smaller and luckily hes fine no matter which way we do it.
