Hello Everyone! I am new to the site and in need of assistance! I just got engaged and feel sooooooo lost! My fiance and I are looking to possibly get married in fall of 2010 and are already having trouble with dates. Can anyone give me some advice on the woodlands, glen cove mansion or fowerfields? Most halls offer food tasting. I've tried the food at Crest Hollow and Jericho Terrace- both of which I found have excellent food!

I think a good place to start would be to figure out roughly how many people you are going to have. We looked at GCM and the Woodlands. GCM is really beautiful but if you have more than 200 people - they put extra tables in connecting rooms and so we weren't crazy about the setup. I absolutely thought that's where I wanted to have it - but the customer service at the Woodlands was really fantastic. Good luck with everything!!

I am getting married at The Woodlands... we originally wanted 10/10/10 but they want more for that date than they do any other random Sunday so we went with a Saturday instead. If you want to know what they quoted us FM me.

We are getting married at the Woodlands and could not be happier. We looked at GCM but i really liked the options we were given at woodlands.. and the food is yummy!
