Hi Everyone.... I'm new to this site...I got engaged about 2 months ago...I cant believe its been that long already. We haven't booked our RH yet, we've been looking every chance we get. But there are just sooo many out there and because we are looking at next September, I feel like nothing will be available if it takes any longer. Although we are pretty flexible with the date as long as we LOVE the RH.... I was just wondering if anyone has any RH suggestions and/or any other planning suggestions.

Welcome!! I'm not sure where exactly you are looking but my RH is absolutely GORGEOUS and they do one wedding a day, which is really great. :)

What really helped me out with narrowing down RHs was the planning section of liweddings and theknot.com local resources.

Thanks everyone... We looked at 3 in LI so far, North Ritz, Larkfield Manor and Chateu La Mer... We are going to look at Swan Club, The Inn at NHP, Royalton Mansion. I dont want to go to far out in Long Island because all of our guests including us are about an hour or more away. I want good food (big cokctail hour) and a gorgeous place- probably what everyone wants ...and a reasonable price....LI seems to be pretty reasonable but a lot of Saturdays were already book...so we are considering Sunday also.

Check out Jericho Terrace. They are my hall, so I am biased, but its GORGEOUS!! They offer alot of food and its delicious. You can actually go to their showcases and try their CH food.

Are you set on Long Island? There are some beautiful halls in New Rochelle....Surf Club, VIP and Glen Island are up there. And my RH is in Throggs Neck...Marina Del Rey...we love it but i guess i am biased!! Good luck!!

Welcome and congrats! I love my RH Harbor Links Golf Course. It is in Port Washington so it is pretty far west

I think you should definitely check out the Floral Terrace!! They have one wedding at a time and the food is to die for! The main ballroom is amazingly gorgeous.

You have plenty of time to book a wedding for next September... sometimes this website gives the impression that everything needs to be booked immediately, but that's not the case if you're flexible in your choice of vendors, dates, times, etc.
What kind of halls do you like? how many guests do you think you'll be having? Those things will help you narrow it down.
