Hello everyone. I'm Robyn from Bellmore, although I lived in East Meadow most of my life. I'm getting married in one year at the George Washington Manor. It has recently begun to kick in that in one year I am going to be a wife. I've been engaged since May of 2002, so it's been awhile... Took some time to sink in. I feel like I am still a little girl, not old enough to be married, haha. Did anyone attend the bridal show at the Marriott last Monday? There's another one by bridal expo on the 13th of this month, I'm quite excited to go. Even though the wedding is still a whole year away, I am enjoying getting into the spirit of it.

First...Welcome! I too am fairly new (Engaged 7-18-04).
Second, I was at the show at the Marriott on Monday. I want to go to the one on the 13 (different sponsor), but I will be in Florida! Have a good time if you go. Did you buy tickets? If not, order them online, use the promotion code KNOT and you can get tixx for free!!

The show at the Marriott was fun... My photographer was actually there with a booth... Personal Touch Photography.... My favorite part was sampling the wedding cake, haha. I got the email this morning with the code for free tix. Too bad you won't be able to make it, but I'm sure there will be lots of other shows. I'm new to the site, but not new to my engagement. :) I've been engaged since May of 2002, but we wanted to take our time. Ha ha, my fiancee just asked me what I was doing, and when I told him I was emailing other girls getting married in 2005, he tried to pretend he thought it was really cool, but I could tell he didn't. Oh well.

My FH is a bit clueless about this site. I tell him things I see/hear, but he always says 'Oh, okay' I love it!
