We have to use new towels everytime we shower. Everyone thinks we are nuts. Especially since we goto the laundromat (sometimes we go 2 weeks)

Ya I don't know what it is. And they have to be like beach towels to wrap around out bodies like 6 times too.

the 2 of us use the same towel sometimes - it depends if it had enough time to dry a little between showers.
3 days tops on the towels - and only if they're hung and spread out to dry - one of my biggest pet peeves is smelly towels!!!!
That was always one of my first tasks when I went to visit FH in college. All the sheets and towels went in the wash, with LOTS of good smelling Downy.

Same towel. The amount of laundry we do is already ridiculous, because our washer machine's small. If we used a new towel every day, I'd probably have to do 1-2 loads of laundry every day.

WE EACH HAVE A TOWEL BUT WE US IT TWO TIMES 3 TOPS. TOWELS ARE ALOT TO WASH. THE TAKE UP SO MUCH ROOM. NOTHING WRONG WITH USING THEM MORE THEN ONCE. I WOULD SAY NO MORE THEN 3 TIMES THOUGH.

We use our towels 2-3 times before washing. If you saw the size of my washing machine you would laugh....it only holds 3 towels and maybe a hand towel. Plus, it takes 1 hour to wash and 2 hours to dry. And its one machine, I would be doing towels everyday. I hate European washing machines! I can't wait to move home and have a normal washer and dryer.

New towel every day is insane!!! Do you know how much water you use washing it every time? They don't even do that in hotels!!

Oh, we had a washer/dryer combo when we were living with our friend and it was awful!!!! You can't ever dry as much as you wash because it would never ever dry!!! and you can only do one wash at a time.
Now we don't have a dryer so we're always hanging things on the radiators and the house is very damp. But I think that the front loaders are great - everything always seems to get cleaner than it used to at home.

for me i use a towel about 3 times before washing it but my DH he uses a different one everytime..and it gets ANNOYING.

I hate the dryers in Ireland. My SIL hangs dry the clothes over night THEN puts them in the dryer. It is so crazy!! They really have to get with the times on that!!!!

We are the same way. I do laundry once a week and I always have a machine full or towels. We were running out of towels when we first got married because of us using one everytime we showered, that my dad ran out to us more.

It's so funny you put up this question, I was just having a conversation with someone about it last week. We each have our own and use it for about a week. I was actually starting to think that I was weird for this. Glad to know I'm not the only one.
