Just wanted to let you guys know that I changed my user name. (You'll know who I am by my pics...well hopefully you will )
It seems that when FH googled his name just for the hell of it last night all my posts from this site would come up!
I guess I was so excited to start posting here I didn't even think of it when I made up my user name! Now I didn't want someone to try googling his name and coming across information about the wedding (hopefully I'm not the only one with a FH who has had some crazy ex's!) so I advise anyone with personal information in their name or profile to just be careful what you post here!

yeah i had mine all set up too and FH googled himself too and was like why do we have a website? so i had to take our names off. now the only thing that comes up is our announcement

I too am extra paranoid about jealous or pyscho people doing some shady stuff.

I had my username as FH last name and I guess since his first name was in the profile google automatically brought it up.
I tried googling it again and all the posts are still coming up!
I might need to shut down and get a whole new user name/profile! I'll contact the site and see what they suggest. I'll kep everyone posted.

I didn't even think about all of that when I first signed up. Then again, had I known that there was going to be forums I wouldn't have chosen to use my actual name. Is it stupid that I'd rather risk my name being googled than starting over from post #1?!
I wonder if Ron would allow me to change my name but keep everything the same. Hmmmm....

wow, I wasn't aware of this but I read a post about not putting your vendors etc on your profile b/c some one actually had vendors cancelled on them, b.c someone called & pretended to be them

Oh definitely. I actually spoke to my RH about that and we set up a little system in case that was to happen. Not that it would... neither of us has a jilted ex or anything, but you never know who's out there...
