What's everyones plans foe New Years Eve?

We are going to the Miller Place Inn with a bunch of friends.

I think we're double dating w/ FH's best friend and his fiance and doing dinner/dancing at Capitale in NYC...nothing's finalized yet.
I'm equally happy drinking champagne at home in my jammies playing Guitar Hero though..I've never been a big New Years Eve partier.

We might go to Boston for a party, but we leave town to go out with college friends every year, so a part of us wants to stay put this year.

I'm sure it will be spent with FH and his family, but the particulars haven't been hammered out yet. I'm hoping for a quiet evening at home, I'm partied out and just tired.

FH just started a second job as a waiter and they asked him to work NYE so he most likely will work and I will stay home with my family.

However, I can work from 'home' so I am going to my friends party and will be the loser sitting in the corner with her laptop.

No plans so far...I'm working til 7...This is the first year our store will be closed on New Year's Day, so I'll be off and can actually have some drinks if I want to!!!!

We are going to FH's friends apt in the city. They are having a little get together. Then probably head out to a bar nearby after midnite.

Awwwwww! Why do you get depressed? Its funny you say that though because every new years when they drop the ball, I cry. But I think its because New Years Eve is always a little bittersweet.....another year over. But I think this year i'll be smiling instead of crying!!! We've been waiting for 2009 to come for 2 years!!
