Re: New York Botanical Gardens

I can tell you it is an expensive venue. It is an Abgail Kirsh venue. I have never been to an affair there, but I can only imagine it is stunning!

looked heavily into this one as well! (we have the same taste!) - i liked it there a lot - but fell for oheka castle in the end. i wasn't nuts about the main room for a larger party at ny botanical - you should check out brooklyn botanical - it's AMAZING!

Re: New York Botanical Gardens

we looked at tarrytown house, castle at tarrytown, ny botanical, brooklyn botanical, oheka, chelsea piers and sunnyside I think it was called in Westchester - oh and the whitby in rye, ny and estherwood as well.

There are a lot to choose from. The best thing to do is to decide around how many people you are going to have - becuase that can rule out a lot of places right off the bat. There are great spots in Manhattan - I just didnt' want to have the reception there myself,, but a lot of girls on this board are. There are tons of sites to search and most of these places have websites so you dont' waste your time going if you are not going to like it.

Also your budget should come into play immediately. Don't forget to add tax and grat. to the prices you are given. Good luck!
