My fiance is from Texas, so we have about 70 people coming to New York for the wedding. We thought it would be a cute idea to make the out of town bags NY themed. Do you guys have any ideas on what we could put in them?

Re: New York Themed Out of Town Bags
I was thinking of putting a 1/2 bottle of wine (I think they're called splits?) from a LI winery. Not sure which ones sell splits but I'm going to look into it. Maybe some NY lottery scratch offs?
Are you looking more toward a NYC theme or LI theme?

I Heart NY T-shirts are cheap in the city, maybe some post cards (CVS has LI and NYC postcards) Maybe stop by MacArthur airport and check out the gift shop! Also, the little strip mall in Port Jefferson has a cute store with all sorts of Long Island souviners (the mall on main st)

Re: New York Themed Out of Town Bags
dollar stores have tons of NY mugs. I bought some white ones with the I <3 NY design that is on the t-shirts. We were going to do t-shirts and still might, but this is more practical and cheaper for now.
they also have ones with the ny skyline, etc.

i'm doing a NYC theme one.On the front i put a pic of the skyline and the Statue of Liberty. I ordered bulk subway maps from the MTA, bought tons of NYC postcards, and am including a bag of New York Deli Potato chips to put in there, along with the regular snacks (gum, crackers etc). I have a pic of the box in my album.
