Newbie

Hi Girls,
I have been a lurker even before I got engaged. This is a great site! I have been looking at a few halls and really like a couple that I saw...BUT one of them has a club during the week. Not sure if that will effect weddings or not. Should I even consider it? There is great advice on this site and was wondering what you girls think?

you mean it's used as a club during the week?

if so, i'd make sure to look at the property closely. clubs are usually trashed by the end of the night, so you want to make sure that the property is still in good condition. you don't want to worry about that stuff on your wedding day.

Hi! It's Chateau Briand! I love it but they have a club on Tuesday night in the summer. Not sure when Im getting married yet but I love the outside. Actually now that Im at it...has anyone ever been there? Any reviews? Im off today so Ill be at this for a while..lol

hello and congratulations!
my friend works at the 'club' over the summer... she said its very tasteful. I wouldn't worry about it at all! the place is gorgeous! I wish we would have looked there.

Really? Do you remember if it was in the summer? I dont think Im ready to book yet because I want to do more research. I have the type of family that will critique everyhing so it has to be great! How is the food?

It's owned by scotto brothers, so the food is amazing!!! I wouldn't even worry about the club thing!!! there are a lot of girls on here getting married there. It's beautiful!!!! You can also come up from the dance floor there if that's your thing!!!

Thanks everyone!!!! What other places besides Chateau Briand are out there that are big like that? Although I have a feeling Im going to compare everything to that one.
