Newbie bride need RH quote help

Original post by PABride

I just joined here because I to expand my RH search. FI and exhausted our search in our area (we're from the Poconos/Lehigh Valley) area. We're just not fans of the RH in our area at all. Since I'm originally from Brooklyn and most of my family still lives here, I thought having a wedding here would be a good idea.

However, I don't know where to start.

We're looking for somewhere that is $100pp or less, either Saturday or Sunday afternoon (a Saturday night would be a treat) in either July-early November in 2013 or late April-May 2014. A waterfront location is a major plus but an outdoor location would be fine.

However, there's a few I won't have a wedding at. Not because I don't like the place but I've been to weddings there. I want our wedding to be completely unique.

So no Woodbury Country Club (BFF had her wedding there in 2010), no Windows On The Lake (cousin had his wedding there in 2006), or Douglaston Manon (brother had his wedding there in 2007).

So hello and help!

Try the Riviera in Massapequa...that's on the water. I've never been but heard great things from it.

THIS one million times over!! see my album for pics

Congrats! You can try the Lombardis waterfront locations.. FH and I were quoted $97.50 p/p inclusive for oct/nov 2013

Pricing also depends on the month and time you want to get married. During peak times prices are higher. I think peak is May - August in some places and Saturday nights during those months.

We were left to walk around the Riviera by ourselves for a while too.. its was a weird experience, we weren't thrilled with the service and the pricing was strange and just wasn't big enough for us in the end.

But my Aunt and her long time girlfriend are getting married there soon and she absolutely loves it. She said that many places did not seem happy to have them there but at the Riviera they were overly friendly and was excited to have them, so I guess it depends on the day you go. She has had nothing but good things to say about it.

Try Swan Club in Roslyn. About 40 min from Brooklyn. Over looks a beautiful Garden and Roslyn Harbor.

We are in the Somerley room for a Friday in Sept of 2013 & the minimum is 150 people. Let me know if you need pricing :)

Once again thank you for the suggestions. I'm really like BYC and what they have to offer. I remember watching an episode of Four Weddings about the one who had her wedding there. :) I also like that is across from Long Beach. If FI and I decide to do a 'reveal' shoot before the wedding, I would love to do it on the beach.

Swan Club's grounds look pretty online but need to see it in person to narrow it down.

FI's friend suggested a place near to us in the Poconos. While it's nice, I'm not a fan on how they do their pricing.

I'm just excited about RH searching.

BUMP!

I'm curious about the Westbury Manor! Is it under $100 pp?
