NEWBIE who needs HELP with EVERYTHING!

Hi All!

October'05 bride-to-be who's been engaged since Thanksgiving and the only thing I have booked is the hall, the church and limos. Actually, I'm having doubts about the limo place I booked with. Ever heard of Atlantis Limos in Massapequa?

Also, I'm lost on some of the abbreviations on these boards. Can anyone clue me in??? Any help is graciously appreciated!

are you getting married in manhattan? i am and haven't found anyone on this board thats getting married in the city.

you're waaaaay ahead of me! my wedding is march 5, and i have booked NOTHING. i live in la but i'm moving to ny the end of august so i haven't been able to plan. but these message boards seem to be a great help.

thanks for the reply! i live in manhattan and the ceremony will take place in manhattan, but the reception is in LI, at the floral terrace. I am so stressed out and I leave for Greece next week. I'll be vacationing for 6 weeks and feel that i should have a lot more done before i go. I have an appt with classie sounds. I saw them at russo's on the bay two weeks ago and they seemed great to me. i have a ton of questions, where should i begin?? i wish you lots of luck too!

Manhattan, go to Greece with peace of mind. You're wedding is over a year away! I became engaged in Aug, and have been planning since Sept, for a Sept wedding. And I've had sooooooo much downtime! I think you're fine as long as the hall & church are booked. Everything else you can definitely take your time with.

Btw, I also getting married in NYC, and recept in LI. As well as using Atlantis Limos... why are u having doubts?

My wedding date is October 7. My fiance's birthday is October 4 and mine is October 13. How could October babies not have a wedding in October?? I love the fact that's it's between our birthdays!

Only if I can pack my fiance along with you! I'm going with my dad. And boy oh boy are we traveling! We're going to Chios(which is the island my dad is from), Crete, Rhodes, Piraeus, Turkey ( I think) and Venice (for a long weekend) not to mention might be seeing a game or two at the Olympics in Athens. I'm going to need a vacation when I get back!

I've had an appt. with Deja Vu months ago, and thought they were good, but haven't booked anyone yet. Has anyone used them before? I will make appts for other studios upon my return from vacation in September.
I'm going to check out the search. Thanks for your help!
