Newborn Essentials

I have 8 more weeks left and then baby will be here so I am starting to think about getting all the essentials we will need, but I am not really sure what all those things are! Anyone have a list of first time mom must haves? Specifially, I'm talking about medicines to have in the house and things like that. Right now, I'd be lucky to find a bandaid in our medicine cabinet!

you should ALWAYS check with your ped before giving any child any meds. They recommend not giving some kids certain meds before they are a certain age. And they dont put the dosage on the bottle for infants

But I have in my house

Mylicon (gas releif)
Tylenol
Saline drops for the nose (Little Noses)
cotton balls (why not)
alcohol (if you are going to use it on the cord)
Diaper rash cream (brand of your choosing)



Diapers
onesies
socks
blankets (receiving)
bottles
nipples (if you plan on bottle feeding)
hat (for those chilly August nights)

And plenty of love
