Congratulations and Welcome! wow - good for you on booking the RH so quickly!!!! I'll further back that most e-parties are within a few months of being engaged. we were engaged in july and ours is this sat....ohhhh and THAT reminds me - there was a question i wanted to post!

I know absolutely nothing about e-parties. We didnt' have one, so I don't know the answer to that. But, I just wanted to say CONGRATS on your engagement!!! So exciting! Good luck in all of your planning

I didn't have an eparty and we are not going to ... been together almost 6 years, I don't think we need one ... but I think jan/feb would be a good time for you. That being said ... if your FMIL is paying for it, maybe it would be best to have it when she wants to? JMO.

friends of mine got engaged in june, and just had their engagment party like 2 weeks ago, there gettin married in may of 09
