newly engaged!!!

I just got engaged Dec 22, 2008!!!!! I have my church and reception hall booked!!! Its going by so quickly. I'm trying to get it all done in 9 and half months. I love my FH and can't wait to marry him!!

On a sad note, I don't think my FMIL is thrilled. I think she preferred my FH's ex fiancee

I am excited to involve his family in the planning of our wedding. His sisters are so excited and I am excited to be getting them as sister-in-laws.

I love my FH and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

Congrats!! and dont worry, its not about them but you and your FH. Everyone is going to have something to say about everything and as hard as it might be at times just ignore it and dont let it bother you!!

sorry about your FMIL..only time will tell ....she may just be in shock that her son is becoming a man. My FMIL was very distant for awhile, and slowly came to terms that i will be her daughter in law
