Newly engaged and needing help!

Hey all! We are recently engaged and looking at venues. We live in eastern Suffolk county and would like to know what venues people recommend in Nassau and Suffolk and if anyone could tell me any prices they were quoted! This would really help us out. Thanks in advance!

I'm getting married at Smithtown Landing Country Club. It's the only venue FH and I agreed on. All the lessings venues are pretty reasonably priced.

I'm from Jamesport and we were originally trying to stay out on the NOFO but everything is so expensive out there! What type of place are you looking for? We went from wanting a vineyard type wedding to a ballroom- we were all over the place LOL! But we ended up booking with Lombardi's on the Bay!

I'm booked with the Hamlet in Commack but there is also the wind watch in Hauppauge. What Is the theme or look for your wedding??

I recommend our venue Flowerfield. Nicely renovated now and very simple yet unique and classy! Not sure of price as we booked a year ago! :)

We're booked at fox hollow in Woodbury. Not sure if you're willing to go that far west but it's worth it ;) if you want, I have quotes for east wind, lombardis on the sound, villa lombardis, and Larkfield all in Suffolk. I also have quotes in Nassau for Venetian yacht club, chateau Briand, jericho terrace, milleridge cottage, and Obvs fox hollow lol. Let me know :)

Check out any of the Lessings venues. Many of them are reasonable in price. Stonebridge Country Club was just renovated and Timber Point has had a few changes

Congrats ! I am getting married at the Somerley Fox Hollow so I can send quotes for that, lands end and chateau la mer- I would especially recommend Fox Hollow! But I would recommend all three ( I've attended weddings at all of them)

Congrats on the engagement! As for quotes, I have a few from Westbury Manor, Swan Club, and Chateau Briand etc. We got a very good deal from Chateau Briand bc of FH's dad, but you can def negotiate with them and these places! I'll send you and FM! :)

Check out the Bayview House at Captain Bill's in Bay Shore, it's right on the water and prices were very reasonable!

Congrats! I am getting married at the Irish Coffee Pub. I think it's a little bit of an atypical venue, and no it's not a 'pub' in the sense of what we think of it, it's a full blown restaurant. They are a restaurant with a separate catering area. The Irish Coffee Pub also owns the Bellport Country Club and caters to The Vineyards (based on your wedding location, I'm sure you know where that is).

I found ICP offered alot for the price. They are also very accommodating due to our size party (we are expecting 80 ppl. We got the 2014 price, but their prices are going up next year to $105pp w/o taxes and fees for their Complete Wedding Package.

Congrats! I haven't picked a venue out yet but I was just quoted from Captain Bill's/BayviewHouse for October 2015 $95/ pp + 18% gratuity or November 2015 $90/pp + 18% gratuity.
