Newly Engaged & Ready to Plan!!!

Hi ladies!

After 4 1/2 years together, my love proposed on 12/23 during a basketball game at the Barclays Center in BK! I'm so excited and anxious to start planning our day! We decided to wait until after Valentine's Day to start any real planning but I can't help but look at stuff,lol. I'm currently in graduate school and will be graduating next May so we're hoping for early June 2014. I would prefer Saturday night but am open to Friday and Sunday. We've saved money but are on a TIGHT budget since my FH is the only one working with me being in graduate school. We're hoping to spend around 100-125pp inclusive of tax & gratuity for 200-250ppl.

We're currently considering the following: Crest Hollow CC, Fox Hollow CC, Swan Club, Watermill, Woodbury CC, Willow Creek CC, Windwatch CC

Any info you guys can share on the above (price, mins, experiences, etc.) would be great as we would love to go into the venues armed with some information. Also, feel free to suggest additional venues. Thanks ladies!!!!!

Congratulations and welcome to the boards! I don't have pricing info for that month but I do know that the food at Watermill is great, they're having a showcase this Tuesday and Wednesday - it's free and there's so much yummy food! We also looked at Willow Creek and I loved it there. Everyone was so friendly and it was beautiful. We went to see CHCC and Fox Hollow (loved the somerley room) but we didn't like the banquet managers we dealt with. They weren't flexible at all and it felt very car salesman-ish.

He's an account manager for VIP season ticket holders, the hours are crazy and it's stressful but he loves it!
