Hi everyone this is my first post! Is there anyone who can help me? Oh please, say yes!
My fiance and I are looking to have our ceremony in a chapel. How do I go about finding one? Here is the problem. He lives in Queens, I'll be in Massapequa, the reception is in New Rochelle. Excellent planning... hee hee.
I would love a chapel in Weschester or even Queens. Not LI. Any suggestions would be fantastic. I tried to google chapels, I just got dizzy.
I would appreciate any help. I have less then 10 months!!!

Congrats!!!...Well If i were you, I would look at the closest chapel by you and also by him and see which one you like best.

Are you opposed to getting married at the chapel at your reception hall? I only ask because the Glen Island Harbor Club in New Rochelle has a beautiful chapel, and you can host your reception there as well.

Well we already booked at Green Tree Country Club. I'm not against having the ceremony at the hall, but if we do, it will be in the same room. If the weather is nice the ceremony can be outside, but I don't want to count on that... But I don't like the idea of having all of the events in the same room. I just don't know how to go about finding one.

Did you try asking the Banquet Manager at The Green Tree Country Club if there were any churches close to there? Congratulations and welcome! Why don't you and FI take a drive around the area and see what you come up with. I know they have a bridal center (not sure of the name) near there that is like one stop shopping. Photographs, invites etc. Maybe you can ask them for a referral.
