So DH left about a week after our wedding for VA for work (took a mini HM sort of)...found out today he'll be there thru at Sept most likely..man this stinks...it's summer, we live in a vacation area and i am all alone, except for our 2 dogs.
Normaly I can deal with the separation but it used to be for 2 weeks...not 2 months..and we weren't newlyweds...sorry to be a whiner...i am just upset.

I am so sorry...It must be hard. Can you fly down for a weekend? Before you know it he'll be back--- just talk onthe phone as much as you can!!

Awww. I understand. FH has a job that requires him to be away a lot too but just a few days a week, not TWO MONTHS! And you're Newlyweds! Hopefully it will just make you two grow fonder of one another

Don't be sorry I would be sad too FH was just away on business for almost a month, it was really tough leading up to when he left and then sometimes it was hard while he was away. But the time did pass quickly!
Any chance you can visit him in VA, I visited FH once a week and it really helped

Awww Kat I know just how you feel! We're moving FH up to Rochester next week and he'll be there all the way till the wedding in October. We have a few weekends planned but it's just not the same.
I'm here for you if you need anything!! We'll stick together and the time will fly (hopefully!!)

long distance is so hard, but you can work on the positive side of it. you can do nice things like send cute care packages (brownies, maybe a sexy pic of you) and when you DO see each other, it makes it that much better...... hang in there.

hahaha...you girls crack me up...all my friends are married w/ kids...trying to get out for just some dinner is crazy! my BF did come to visit this weekend though.
I could have about 2 people over for a GTG...haha...my house is a tiny one floor...2 bedroom (one is my office) only 1 bath...don't let the title 'Hamptons' fool ya...hahaha...no huge beachfront estate here.
