Newly Weds.... need your help reg: TIPPING

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick question....

From what I've read on the boards--you tip EVERYONE. Is this correct?

I know some tips are included (like for me: my BM & the majority of the staff at my RH is included, etc.).... but how does this work when one of your vendors is the owner of the company?? IE: My photographer is the owner, then I have a second photographer, an assistant, two videographers and then I have 5 band members. I'd appreciate a little guidance in how to/who to tip haha... thank you!!

We tipped everyone except if someone was the owner of the company, and we based our tips on the service we recieved that night.

We tipped our Matre D (they say 3-5 dollars per person is avg, we gave more because the service was just amazing! i think a total of 800
We gave the bridal attendant i think 250 or 300 becuase she was my shadow that night and she was just amazing!

We gave our photog and videographer 200 each

DJ/MC/Candid photog: We gave them 175 to split between the DJ and the Photog. We were not thrilled with their services so the tip showed that.

Limo Drivers: I think between the 3 drivers we tipped 300 hundred total

My mom took care of the florist so im not sure there, and i think that was about it for our major vendor tips...

Bridal Attendant - $200

Photographer (main) - $100

Assistant photog - $50-75

Videographer - $100

Band - $25 per musician

Hair / Makeup – 20%

Flower Delivery - $20 each

Limos - $50 to party bus driver, $20 per driver of three other cars

Altar Servers - $10 each (gift cards)

Organist at Church - $25 (gift card)

Cantor - $50 gift card

Priest - $100 gift card

DOC – $150
