Since I've been on these board beginning in August, I notice a common theme among us girls: A Post-Wedding Newlywed Chop.

I'm probably going to cut about 4-6 inches off...right now my hair is all the way down my back AND curly, so if it was straight it would be nearing the small of my back. I can afford to chop at least 6 inches, and still be considered as having 'long' hair

After the wedding the only chop I'm doing is a ton more layers and a bigger side bang... My hair has been short (Victoria Beckham bob) and even shorter since 2006. When I met FH andd through our first 8 months of sating his hair was longer than mine!! Finally its hitting my shoulders, so I will not be going short, just re shaping (I already have long layers and a side bang). Am I going against the grain here or what?

I can't wait to chop it off....It's too long and heavy and my curls are too loose bc of the weight of it. I need to cut at least 4 inches to get my bounce back.

i want to go on the shorter side, but FH kinda has a thing with hair being too short but that being said... it is still MY hair and i would like to have it above my shoulders at least... prob 2-5 inches off

I'm not chopping it. My hair is basically the same length it always is - just past my shoulders and that's the way I'm leaving it.

Thats the length I'm almost at now...so funny b/c this is considered long for me! LOL At least I have 8 more months of growing time to get in; BUT I have been a good girl and getting trims every couple of months.
