When Nick was on Howard Stern he said Jess makes a few million a year. Not too shabby in my opinion.

I am with ya Marcela...I love Jessica...and the show is REAL...i have moments like that too...just makes me laugh.

They are FAR from broke. They signed 2 of the most lucrative record deals in the business, and they have VERY smart business people behind them.

No artist fresh out of the box EVER signs a lucrative record deal. Unless you renegotiate, which is highly unlikely, they have clauses in your contract to stop that. She is still making records on the deal she got st8 out of dallas texas.(think TLC) They more likely than not are contracted for 7 or more records. Let's try to remember that all of her money isn't JUST her money. She has alot of people to pay,(and spend) BIG BUCKS at that. And she owes Columbia a hefty sum of money, for her last 2 records that bombed on the charts, which is why she decided to do the show in the first place(I heard her say it on one of those access hollywood type shows). So now she is defintely raking in the big bucks but in the beginning no way jose, they were defintely not all that in the money department. I think her father is a genious, her mother a bit disturbing, but the dad I like. He is a definte business man. I think most of it was his doing not hers. Even her publicist says that she hams up the dumb blonde act because 'america loves dumb blondes'. I agree she needs to milk it

I think it is like 7 or 800. It was on a Madonna special.

Jessica clearly lead a very sheltered life...If she goes broke and can't wash her own clothes, it's her parents fault. Her mother did everything for her when she was young and when she started making money she had maids to do it.

As for Nick, he seems to be the most frugal celebrity that I have seen. I can understand why he was upset about the 55K watch, 1400 sheets, etc... But why didn't he get movers to get the stuff from his condo? Although it was a genius idea to slide the cabinet up the ladder, I just kept thinking why is he doing it himself?

Hopefully Jessica will cut the purse strings from her parents and Nick can help her be more mindful of spending.

I dont care what anyone says I love Jessica. And not for nothing but shes got money. And so does he. He was in 98 degrees and he is the only one who has a solo album and just because we don't buy there albums doesn't mean the little teeny boppers don't. Jessica has had a record contract since she was 12 she sang gospel music. Whenever I turn on Z100 or Wbli they are playing A Jessica song. She is definetly making money. And I honestly think she is prettier then Britney or Christina And FH agrees with me LOL. They spent a lot on the wedding but you know what she had the wedding of her dreams.

Like I said before if you got the money why not by the things you like. He$$ if I had the money I wouldnt be driving my 1994 Honda Civic.

Obviously other people spend that kind of money on things.. Otherwise they wouldnt make them.

Again, record deals don't mean you have money..just think TLC. and they sold 8 million records. And as far as him being in 98 degress, groups are financial death in the music business. You better sell ALOT of records to be able to make a substantial profit and pay all the people you owe. They came out AFTER n'sync and the BSB and never had the same impact. Of course they have money, no one said they were broke. But if she keeps hanging out with that mother of hers who knows what could happen.....lol.....'o this is great', 'o this is great'. 'o this is great' Mtv made her sounds hysterical when they looked her. She sounded like a broken record.

Well I Know 1 thing THEY HAVE A HE$$ OF A LOT MORE MONEY THEN I DO. LOL.

For some reason, I am also drawn to the show. I think that they are the cutest couple. IMO, Jessica has a natural beauty that comes through even when she's not wearing makeup.

I think it's beautiful that he was her first and he waited for her. God knows it's not easy.

I think the show makes her look dumber than she actually is, so I hope she just doesn't get typed casted. That would get tired fast

In any case, they are laughing on the way to the bank. Doing the show was the greatest think for their careers, especially Nick's solo career.

Ditto but I think the typecast thing is almost inevitable. Just the way hollywood works, you do something and you do it well, all of a sudden it becomes the ONLY thing you can do for some reason. I think we are all drawn to the show because she is very much like most women. I know I have gotten some looks from FH for a couple of pairs of shoes that I had to get, or a handbag or something. And thank God it is one show you can watch on MTV and not have to worry about someone getting naked.
